Fou' Foune Vincent

Sniff is like something out of Masterchef where they dish up the same ingredient in 7 different ways. Here we have APRICOT purée, soft fresh flesh, apricot skins, apricot stone, you get the picture. Sip is soft but with a zip, pleasingly tart, with bite.

Iris (2021) Vincent

Sniff is herbal with mint, rosemary and basil, alongside sour apple with a dusting of cinnamon. Sip is bitter - from the hop leaves, lemon rind and juice, yeast, and then a young oak finish which smoothes it out. Top!

Kriek Boon Vincent

White sugar with cherry juice saturated through, glacé cherries on sniff but also with an oaky, gamay wine tannic element. Sip is more sweetened cherries - light overall but a hint of woody cherry stems and old, stale cherry skins.

Apple, horse blanket, hop sack must, jute bag sniff. Sip is sharp with bursts of carbonation. Dried apricot and walnuts as described. The nutty walnut skin finish provides a dryness too.

Saint Lamvinus Vincent

Sniff is alot of farmyard funk and raspberry wine gums. Sip is summer fruits with a good dose of sour cultures cutting through. Nice, rounded oakey, medium dry finish.

Oude Geuze A L’Ancienne VAT 108bis Mono Blend Vincent

Sniff is earthy, freshly picked rhubarb with a touch of rose petals. Sip has an oakey undertone throughout but quite light, spritzy (hic!) and delicate with more rhubarb, softened apples and pears - a tiny bit of sweetness that lingers as it dries off.

Do You Think This Is A Fucking Game? Vincent

Passion fruit, nectarine and weak tangerine juice sniff. Follows through on sip with a refreshing 'flesh immediately round the stone fruit' and waxy zest bitterness at the end. 3.90.

Nath (2020) Vincent

Delicate sniff of raspberry and a hint of rhubarb. Boiled down rhubarb which brings out it's bitterness but loses the sharpness (more rounded and subtle as a result), some raspberry pips and an oakey finish. 4.10.
