This is STILL the crossroads of barrel-aged stout meets adjuncts without being understated or overdone. This is not your overly thick and cloyingly sweet dessert stout. Barrel influence, maple sweetness, roasty, chocolatey. It's as good as it ever was!

Absolutely phenomenal. Vanilla? ✔️ Cinnamon ✔️ Maple? ✔️ Not overly sweet, and none of the adjuncts are overdone, or outweigh the others. As is almost always the case, everything intensifies as it warms. I do wish there was a touch more barrel influence.

Utopias Barrel-Aged 120 Minute IPA (2023) J
The influence of the Utopias barrels on this incarnation of 120 Minute is undeniable. I really thought this was going to be a bit of a gimmic, and I'm here to say it truly isn't. Boozy, malty, rum soaked raisins, twany port. Wasn't expecting to do this...

Found this baby in the back of the fridge and I had no clue that I had it. Bottled on 2/2/21. Had to be a sample bottle that I forgot to drink because I never bought it. Regretting that I didn't because this is incredible. Bourbon, maple, dark chocolate.
