🇭🇺 My first Braggot. Probably my last. But had to try it. Tastes like someone threw some of that cola lollipop powder in my beer. Can’t give an honest rating (a 1.0 max) but that’s not fair so I will rate it a bit below the average. (Love the glass)

🇩🇰 Movie Night! Perfect night for a brown ale with movie snack ingredients; Cola, Vanilla, Marshmallows, seasalt & caramel malts. Aged for 9 months in Pineau Des Charentes & Bourbon barrels. The cola is a bit predominate but it’s delicious!..and sticky!

🇧🇪 Smooth fruity tartness. Herbal anise tones in the aftertaste.

KBS Hazelnut van de Grift

LCI: Summer Night Sipper. Smooth combo of hazelnut, chocolate and a subtle coffee roast. Could have been a tiny bit thicker. But the balanced flavors give you enough satisfaction.

LCI: Nice balanced DIPA. Some mango, some pineapple and a lot of hops. Nois.

Scarlet Dawn IPA van de Grift

LCI: Malty but still fruity and good bitterness.

Damn Dark Stout VII van de Grift

KBS Cinnamon Vanilla Cocoa van de Grift

Sweet with subtle coffee tones. But there is a predominant cinnamon flavor with a some subtle vanilla in the back. The cinnamon almost blocks all of the boozyness.

KBS Maple Mackinac Fudge (2020) van de Grift

Second ‘Fudge’ of the evening, this time it’s a bourbon oak barrel aged stout with Mackinac Fudge coffee, Maple syrup and chocolate. Taste explosion; strong coffee roast, nice boozynes, subtle sweetness and a bitter pure chocolate aftertaste.

Underground Mountain Brown (2019) van de Grift

An imperial BA brown ale but has the smell of a good stout. Taste is like a light coffee stout but backed up by a delicious BA. Very nice.

Blushing Monk van de Grift

Shitload of raspberries. Fruity sourness with a delicate tart. Nice.

George Bourbon BA van de Grift

And for BA desert a Danish imperial oatmeal stout with coffee and vanilla aged in bourbon whiskey barrels; Full black dark and viscous stout with a dominant taste of pure chocolate with slight hints of roasted coffee and vanilla with a subtle boozyness.
