Oude Geuze Boon Black Label Rinta-Koski
Pretty much the best gueuze I’ve ever had. Luckily I have another bottle stashed away in my nuclear-proof vault somewhere in the Finnish Alps. I’d rather drink this than most things.

Happy 30th Birthday, Hilpeä Hauki! Just found out kriek makes for an excellent ruokajuoma, which is Finnish for "food drink". I'd rather drink this than take that and smoke it in my pipe.

Pretty fly for a low ABV beer. Maybe not the best kriek out there, but one that is relatively easy to find even up here in the Great Unknown. I'd rather drink this than swim with the goldeneyes.

Now we're talking. Full cherry flavour, not too sour. One of the best krieks out there. I'd rather drink this than pass out under the cherry moon.

Saint Lamvinus (1995) Rinta-Koski
Fruity and tart, like some people I could mention. Complex notes aplenty. Not unlike sipping a delightful port after a feast. I'd rather drink this than hang on a cross next to Saint Lamvinus.

Oude Kriek Boon (2013) Rinta-Koski
Surprisingly sweet for an almost 10 year old brew. Maybe the yeast just gave up at some point. Very full bodied and mature, unlike some people I could mention. A fitting finish for a sacrificial lamb feast. I'd rather drink this than end up on a cross.

Sweet as, in fact Sweeter than Poppa Joe. Tastes like Radler made with caramelized sugar, which isn't too far from the truth. Not disgusting, even if my partner in drink might say so. I'd rather drink this than beer made with Mozart-Kugeln.

Not entirely unpleasant, somewhat bizarre for what is supposed to be a wheat beer. I'd rather drink this than pass out in the scorching sunshine of Wappu at Kaivopuisto.

Oude Schaarbeekse Kriek (2019) Rinta-Koski
Tart as, bro. Like getting wasted slowly but surely sitting under a cherry tree in bloom in a Schaarbeek orchard on a sunny afternoon. I'd rather do that in fact, but sipping this on a sunny Helsingrad balcony wrapped in a down jacket works for me too.

Oude Schaarbeekse Kriek (2019) Rinta-Koski
Quite dry. Cherry flavour not overpowering, lovely lambic base. My partner in drink says this is the best kriek ever. Jury still out on that but certainly very good. I'd rather drink this than move to Schaarbeek.

Sour and has that lovely lambic odor. My partner in drink says this is as close to a raspberry lambic as Cantillon gets. I'd rather drink this than look for clues, or clews.
