Just a faint hint of hazelnut in the taste. More noticeable on the nose than anything. But some serious bitter chocolate and coffee presence. Thinner though. Not sure I’d get this again but I am stuck with the 4pack.

Age did wonders for this. Roasty, oakey, leather, cigar, chocolate. Strong but not boozy somehow. Very good. Thanks Kevin N.

KBS Maple Mackinac Fudge (2022) F
Aroma is great. Definitely a beer worth of letting warm up. But chocolate flavor overpowers. Bit thinner. Still solid overall.

Really enjoyed the sweetness from the Cognac barrel aging treatment. Thanks thomas

Yesterday. 4.5-4.75 range. Apricots were shining here. Just another solid vintage. Surprised it was a bit more acidic than expected. But not over the top. Thanks thomas

Plenty of coffee, chocolate and maple flavors. Also espresso specifically. It has sweetness for sure but a bit of roastiness comes through, which helps mitigate it. Drier, lighter-med feel finish,... and is good for ‘solo’. This exceeded expectations.
