This isn’t that good. It has a weird bitter bite that is off-putting. The hint of sweetness is weird in this one. Wouldn’t get again

Meh...smells like there will be a lot of maple and bourbon. Really just tastes like a heavily roasted Porter with a splash bourbon that kind of bites at the end.

Hazy-O! I

The bigger Dogfish has gotten the less impressed I’ve become. Mediocre hazy that is more sweet than anything. The hops are a bit earthy, but fade quickly. Beer does finish with a smooth creamy texture.

KBS Maple Mackinac Fudge I

So much flavor! Rich fudge is front and center with a touch of maple to sweeten things up. Little coffee adds bitterness to make sure that sweetness isn’t overwhelming. Oh and then there is that bourbon finish! Great beer!

120 Minute IPA (2020) I

In the past, I’ve loved this beer. Current year is a straight up booze bomb. Doesn’t have that nice hop bite from years past. 2020 is just full of disappointment all around. Bottle with lots of sediment too, which may be a factor.

90 Minute Imperial IPA (2020) I

Forgot to log yesterday. Always a great choice. It’s been awhile and a bit more malts than I remember.
