Little yeasty, owing to all the oats. I’m partial to the naked oat, which, as you’d expect, lends a nutty flavor to this wonderful beer

Dark and hoppy. There beers in this category I like. This isn’t one of them. Wicked lingering aftertaste

Perfect beer for a day of pro golf (watching of course)

Unique and interesting aroma and flavor, sweet and roasty, like toasted sugar

Backwoods Bastard (2020) Alcorn

think I still prefer a good barrel-aged stout, but this one surprised me. Nice aroma with a boozy flavor and thicker mouth-feel, or maybe that’s the COVID vaccine talking
