Really wanted a local pilsner (TALEA Al Dente) but they were out. This will do nicely, such a good beer, especially draft. The food here is awesome, authentic handmade pizza and pasta. 🇮🇹🍻

Pinewood Derby track setup complete, that calls for a beer. Haven't checked this in since 2018, I should drink it more often, clean piney malt bomb works wonders every now and again. Thanks John!

KBS Maple Mackinac Fudge (2022) D
Final weekend of the Maryland Renaissance Festival, and my 8th and final visit this season, figured a quality pre-fest brew was in order. With heavy milk chocolate and tight barrel notes this fits the bill nicely. Huzzah! Stout Saturday!

5th time this season, surprisingly crowded but I guess that's because the forecast improved. Hanging w/ Jeff M. and family as usual. Huzzah!

Hope you're paying attention today Untappd, here ya go. A quality Irish stout, no complaints. The first of many weekends at the Renn Fest. Huzzah!

First time for this gem. So clean, fluffy pine, wispy malted orange, disastrously easy to drink. Really dig this one. Paired well with the delicious lobster roll I practically inhaled. 🦞🍺

A bit too malty and lacking the crisp snap I enjoy so much in a killer pils, went down super quick though.

Canadian Breakfast Stout (CBS) (2019) D
This is why I'm here. Dark chocolate hits big and quick, excellent medium roast black coffee, mild cola notes. Sweetness has faded, almost seems thin, the 11+% subsides with warmth. Delicious, but better 2 years ago IMO, could still drink this every day.

Yikes, this sucks compared to that Cushwa I just had. The name is definitely better than the beer. Malty drab citrus, fruity hay. Better as it warms but no craft in the execution.

Liquified cocoa, not getting much graham cracker, marshmallow sweetness lingers. Thin. It works.

The hype is real. Liquid fudge, sweet maple intermingles nicely, black coffee, smooth barrel heat breezes in the finish and builds as you drink it. Excellent. Had to enjoy this on the down low, so don't say anything, but couldn't miss Stout Sunday!
