considering that it is a lambic macerated on camerises this thing is incredible. fine perlage, nice acidity, stunning berry notes, just incredible!

Gueuze Mariage Parfait 2019 giger
well-rounded Gueuze, nice hoppiness for the style but a little too little bite. the nose promises things that the taste cannot deliver.

only subordinate elderflower nose, mainly sulphur. taste somewhat diluted, like elderflower tea with some Gueuze. still good, I guess..

Zwanze 2022 - Poivre de Gorilles giger
nice Gueuze and pepper and floral nose. less peppery but more dominantly floral in taste. Jasmin? doesn't matter, simply delicious!

Vin Santo nose from a distance but dry as a bone, with heavy and coarse carbonation. I like it very much.

interesting approach, daring, but something funny happens to the taste here. first impression: fish. somehow loses that edge over time but not entirely. carbonation is very good for a lambic though!

not quite a fan of Lambics in general but this one has a lot of potential. give it 2-3 more years and see what happens. definite Muscat note which blends in well with the Cantillon flavour profile. but not quite there yet.

raspberry lambic nose, fresh and crispy. more raspberries, toast, almost something game-y, sourness. once again a genuinely good beer by Cantillon

Soapy hoppy but then just a pale ale, somewhat promising, teasing, and then underwhelming. well but it's built like a brick shithouse. ground solid as every Mikkeller beer.
