Tastes like French toast with maple syrup on a warm winter morning. Or, like the same at Waffle House on a late summer night that is sure to result in a rough morning. Take your pick.

Canadian Breakfast Stout (CBS) (2019) D

It’s CBS and a pretty good iteration. Smoother and not as hot than several I have had.

KBS Espresso (2020) D

The name says it all. A coffee version of one of the best stouts of all time.

Oak-Aged Vanilla World Wide Stout D

Its a Dogfish Head day. 2017 bottling on this one. Very vanilla forward and one of the best balances between sweet and dry.

Más Agave Grapefruit (2020) D

Sweeter than the original, but similar. It has the grapefruit flavor, except it is missing the bitterness. Overall, well done but a tad on the sweet side for my palette.

KBS Maple Mackinac Fudge (2020) D

As if the standard offering of KBS were too pedestrian, they have added maple & fudge? The addition of chocolate is apparent and of course it blends well. The maple is subtle and more in the nose than taste. Decadent, like melted ice cream in a glass!
