A customer accidentally ordered this, not realizing what they were getting into. I was happy to pick up the gauntlet. Malty, hoppy, big. Not as over the top as some years but delicious nonetheless. Ballgame tomorrow might be awfully dicey.

Final day of our three day visit. Fish and family, three days, and so forth. Finally able to wind down and relax, only thing left to do is drive home tomorrow. Starting the evening light. Hazy, hoppy, juicy. Solid starter.

Might be a session but it's always delicious. Hoppy, light, piney, juicy, balanced. Solid.

Sometimes you order a Firestone Walker XPA. And sometimes the bartender accidentally pours you a DFH 60. Of course you don't complain, because it's delicious but you know it's not the XPA you ordered. So you drink half and get a free 60 out of it!

Nothing like going to pay after three and a half hours of delicious grub and libations, only to realize you left your wallet, ID and proof of insurance at home in the other car. Thank god for wives and Venmo. Rich, boozy, coffee, roasty. Fantastic.

First beer on the second card. Hazy, hoppy, juicy. Some bitterness. Solid.

Another light offering. You'd think some of these folks would realize that using a half bottle of perfume and cologne isn't necessary to get your point across. Yuck. Crisp, clean, some hops. Some citrus. Not bad. Light and balanced.

Beerfeast at Saucer yesterday. One of the best beers of the day. Maple, rich, boozy, warming, heavy, all in the best way possible. Fantastic. So good I had two.

Beerfeast at Saucer yesterday. Not my favorite KBS variant but not awful. Rich, boozy, blueberry. Solid.

First time having Founders' take on the classic style. Bready, malty, rich and full. Delicious.

Utopias Barrel-Aged 120 Minute IPA B
Allow me to explain the contamination process. Pine cones go in here, party liquors comes out here and proceed to here. Fights begin, finger prints are took, days is lost, bail is made, court dates are ignored, cycle is repeated. Damn you party liquor!

Very reminiscent of the Guinness Old Fashioned. Boozy, smooth, rich, and yet somehow balanced. Delicious, and amazingly, this was only #2 in the flight. Thanks Ron J.!

Nice to be back at Tap. Checking out some hoops and baseball and crushing beer with good buddies.

Not a Celts fan but I had some local DFW buddies (who are Celts fans) go to the game. I can't imagine that craziness. What a game. Hoppy, light and clean.

Utopias Barrel-Aged 120 Minute IPA B
I suppose if a style of beer was initially brewed for a British colony, the least I can do is close out the evening (morning?) with the newest variant of what is often considered the standard of the style. God save the King. Hoppy, malty, big, rich. Wow

Light, clean, hoppy. Always a solid option. Don't follow a lot of NCAAW hoops but nicely done Iowa!

2020 version. Chocolatey coffee nose. Rich palate. Coffee, chocolate, decadent but not overpowering. Has mellowed nicely in the last few years. No perceptible booziness Fantastic.

Card closer. A classic. Roasty, rich, malty, a little sweet. Excellent as always.

My favorite KBS variant. Two years old at this point. Dense pour. Rich fudgy nose. Fudge, maple, chocolate, rich delicious decadence. To each their own, but I just don't understand how this isn't the best KBS variant. Ever. Fantastic.

Checking another KBS box tonight, only one I hadn't tried. Cherry chocolate nose. Malty, rich, roasty. A lot more cherry than I expected. Very much a cherry cordial in a bottle. Solid, but prefer the other versions.

Dipping into the stout shelf of the beeridge. Snagged this a few weeks ago. Nutty rich nose. Nutty, roasty palate. Rich, robust and malty. Excellent. First time having this KBS variant. Delicious.

Would've had a couple more but they closed a little early. Probably a good thing considering the shenanigans in line for tomorrow. Rich, warning, raisins, deep. Fantastic.

Planned Saucer closer tonight, and then Mike W came along to disrupt the plans. Malty, hoppy, roasty, robust. Delicious.

KBS on steroids. Maple, fudge, chocolate, rich and boozy. Amazing as always. Quite a stout evening.

Not usually a vanilla fan but I'll give Founders the benefit of the doubt. More vanilla than I prefer but it's not as off-putting as some vanilla porters (Breck). Starts vanilla heavy but moves to a natural vanilla ice cream flavor. Surprisingly good.

KBS Maple Mackinac Fudge (2022) B
One of the best Founders brews around. Fudgey nose. Rich palate, fudgey, chocolate gives way to a warming well rounded palate. Sublime.

Racked up 7 24oz beers by this point, but definitely won't ever forget seeing 62 in person. What an amazing feat! Still think it was shady AF for the Yankees to suddenly pull him from the game and then rest him, after they batted him leadoff for weeks!

Final game of the season yesterday. Chipped for solid seats behind home plate. Much slower than the day before. It was a perfect day for baseball, and great to see the Rangers close things out with a win! Can't wait for next season!

Good to see an improved selection, but still wish they had Summer Pils or an Oktoberfest. Hoppy, light, clean. Always solid.

Wow. Fantastic. All the best parts of a lambic. Tart, earthy, dry. Layer in notes of whiskey barrel aging, and this beer is a home run. Outstanding.

Very nice. Tart, bitter, but fruity and refreshing. Very tasty.

Last day in Brussels, had to check out this legendary brewery. Nearly all Americans in the taproom. Crisp, dry, effervescent, tart, and absolutely delicious.

Complex for a DIPA. Hazy, juicy, hoppy, soft palate, very little carbonation. Just a touch of booziness that melts away. Excellent.

Can't go wrong with Founders. Hazy, juicy, light, crushable. Excellent.

Not as sweet as I expected. Bitter, some marshmallow, some smokiness. Solid, just wish it was more rich and decadent.

KBS Cinnamon Vanilla Cocoa (2021) B
Complex, prefer the Mackinac but it's solid. Rich, boozy, sweet.

Utopias Barrel - Aged World Wide Stout (2021) B
The big closer here at Craig's birthday celebration. Let it warm a little. Absolutely ridiculous. Big, warming, rich, dense, dark. Intense and amazing.

90 Minute Imperial IPA (2021) B
Haven't had this one in a minute (more than 90 for sure). Don't see it on draft all that often anymore. Malty, hoppy, big, complex. One of the OG DIPAs. Solid.

KBS Maple Mackinac Fudge (2020) B
A little vintage action. First time I've had it on draft. Huge fudge nose. Truly epic. This is the best Founders beer I've ever had, bar none. Rich, fudgy, deep, balanced, perfectly palate. Would give it a 6 I'd I could. Wow.

As much as I love Dos, hard to go light at home when you start with a 12% stout. Damn it Casey. Rich, vanilla and maple notes. Big but smooth. Excellent. Props to my boy Michael M. for the hook up on this one. Thanks brotha!

Canadian Breakfast Stout (CBS) (2018) B
