Ripe apricots with subtle funk in the aroma. Lovely balance of the apricots, funkiness, and tartness in the taste. Apricots really shine. Yesterday.

Kriek 2019 J

Aroma of funk and hay with a touch of sour cherries. Acidity, oak, and more funk combined with tart cherries in the taste. Very bright. Yesterday.

Whoa, what a find on a Thursday afternoon! The berry jamminess along with the funkiness and tartness were amazing.

Ultimate Oktoberfest J

Bourbon and oak in the aroma. Taste of bourbon soaked bread crust with caramel maltiness in the background. Fairly sweet. Mild floral hops bouncing around as well. Late checkin.

Nemesis (2021) J

Dark malt, leather, and tobacco in the aroma. Leather and molasses in the taste with a bitterness on the back end that lingers. Thanks, Neighbor Eric!

KBS Maple Mackinac Fudge (2020) J

Sweet chocolate, maple, and vanilla along with hints of coffee in aroma. Bourbon and bitter coffee up front in taste with light maple in background. Appreciate that the taste doesn’t follow aroma and never gets sweet. Bottled on 09.25.20 0453 6.

Raison D'Extra (2018) J

Kentucky Breakfast Stout (KBS) (2018) J

A bit more bitter than I was expecting, maybe from the coffee notes aging a bit more. Dark chocolate is still present though less so. Didn’t taste any sweetness. Bottled on 03.06.18. Late checkin.

Más Agave Grapefruit (2020) J

Sweet agave with light hints of grapefruit and tequila in the aroma. Heavy sweetness, which is quite prominent up front in taste. Tart grapefruit once the sweetness dissipates. Once again, very light tequila notes. Not sure if a Paloma is this sweet.

Citrus and floral notes in aroma. Grapefruit and pine along with malt sweetness up front. Finishes with bitterness and more citrus. Late checkin.
