Mikropolis Whiskey Sour SpontanAle Gall

Last beer in the cellar purchased from The Mill on Constance before it closed, from late 2019. Boozy lemon and whisky. Nice sour flavour and caramel in the body as the chill wipes off. Great on a hot day watching Day 5 of the 3rd Test v South Africa.

Canadian Breakfast Stout (CBS) (2018) Gall

Suitable night to drink this last one, say farewell... to this great brew. Aquired NYE 2019, time now to enjoy it. Sticky caramel, chocolate, vanilla oak, ash, rich espresso, nuts, maple syrup. Bitter-sweet indeed when it's gone.

120 Minute Ipa (2022) Gall

This is a big boozy start to the Centenary Share! Spirit-like burn upfront. Palate adjusts as you go, allowing caramel and malts to come through, but this stays big right to the end. Cheers Wolty woltyfor bringing this rarity back to our shores! 🍻

Big Doink Gall

Lovely blend of hops, particularly the Citrus and Cashmere. Ripe apricot colour and taste. Flavour has likely softened, but is still a delicious brew. Final ride for this Spiegelau glass with the new ones arriving - has served me well!

Kentucky Breakfast Stout (KBS) (2019) Gall

Multiple midnight black espresso shots, liberally sprinkled dark cocoa shavings, boozy bourbon, charred oak barrel and generously scraped vanilla beans pods. Always a treat, still developing beautifully 3 years after bottling. I remember: $50 a 4-pack!

George Bourbon BA Gall

Coffee Coffee Coffee... from the upfront roasty aroma to the dry finish. Plenty else pleasantly working in the background, like oatmeal smooth body, cocoa nibs, bourbon barrel and vanilla. But they all willingly play 2nd fiddle to the black mamba juice.

Interstratal Abyss Gall

Passionfruit & pineapple. Lovely can art, felt like 'All The Whales' glass matched nicely. Has mellowed slightly, not displaying any noteworthy sharpness - but that's not necessarily a bad thing. Slight grassiness at the finish for a hint of bitterness.

Earthscraper Gall

Enjoyed this one, pleasantly sweet (but not sugary) pineapple flavour, with a touch of bitterness creeping through as it loses the chill. Love the unique can art, with the reflective building set against the desolate landscape.

Spontandoublelingonberry Gall

THIS is tartness. Earthy flavour underneath from the barrelling, but the funky fruit is what dominates. Macerated lingonberries that (as others have mentioned) is different to other sour berry flavours I've tried before. Unique and enjoyable sour beer.
