KBS Maple Mackinac Fudge (2022) G

Bottled 08/09/22. A fudge bomb with dark roast coffee and a little ash in the finish. No barrel or maple to speak of. Still enjoyable but I'm bringing my rating down .50.

KBS Espresso (2021) G

A lot of Espresso and chocolate. I wish it had a barrel profile to match. It's still quite excellent!

Utopias Barrel - Aged World Wide Stout (2021) G

Mildly sweet and warming with notes of wine, bourbon, char and wood. This is one exceptional barrel aged beauty!

KBS Cinnamon Vanilla Cocoa G

While good it seems a bit messy with the cinnamon and bourbon heat fighting for attention. A hint of oak comes along but it still lacks any complexity to make it special. I'll save the rest for winter weather and see where it goes with some time?

KBS Espresso (2019) G

Another I failed to check in. The espresso is still very prominent along with some dark chocolate, char and oak. Not much barrel but there wasn't much when I had it fresh. It's still excellent but I'd probably tick it .25 higher when fresh.

Panther Cub (2021) G

A dark brown pour that yields a creamy tan foam cap. Smells like vanilla extract with some burnt brown sugar. The taste is quite sweet with vanilla front and center. A hint of bourbon, brown sugar followed by an oakey finish. Pretty darn smooth for 9.2%.

Tank Bender G

Very lively upon opening and gushed everywhere. A murky brown color with a small tan cap of foam. Smells of raisins, dates, figs and some bourbon. The taste is very sweet and fruity with dates, figs, raisins, plums, a bit of barrel. A very dry feel.

A lively dark brown that leaves 2 fingers of creamy tan foam. Smells of fudge, coffee, maple and a slight whiff of barrel. Taste is rich fudge, dark roast coffee, a little maple, bourbon, char, follows with oak in the finish. Smooth creamy feel. Wowza!

Kentucky Breakfast Stout (KBS) (2020) G

Pours a thick dark brown with a thin cap of tan foam. Decadent dark chocolate and coffee roast smell. The taste is huge bitter dark chocolate, coffee, followed by bourbon, char and oak in the finish. The feel is creamy and slightly bitter. Very well done!
