Oh my! The coffee notes are there, but this tastes like a hazelnut chocolate shake. The booziness is there, but not overly so. I may look for a four pack of this.

Porter Sainsbury

It’s amazing that as many beers as I’ve had from Founder’s that this is the first time I’ve had this. The coffee notes are stronger than notes, but I can’t complain as the acidity is low. A touch of sweetness helps.

All Day IPA Sainsbury

Chocolate Cherry KBS Sainsbury

Quite tasty. As this warms, the chocolate comes out nicely as notes of cherry hit. A slight booziness is evident, but not overwhelming.

Backwoods Bastard Sainsbury

I can’t say I am that excited about this. It has s Some good character, but the booziness is lacking. In fact, I don’t think the barrel it was aged in was a particularly good bourbon. But I have three left, so I will trudge on.

Hazy-O! Sainsbury

This is a nicely balanced beer, and a easy drinking IPA. Excellent.

KBS Hazelnut (2022) Sainsbury

Too much coffee, not enough hazelnut, but the beer is solid.

120 Minute IPA Sainsbury

This I a much better beer than I expected. At 18%, it has a kick. What I like most is the flavor. There is more flavor from malts than I would expect and less from the hops. Makes this easy to drink.

90 Minute Imperial IPA Sainsbury

It’s not Pliny the Elder, but this is a smooth beer that warms the belly. Well done.

KBS Maple Mackinac Fudge Sainsbury

So good. Amazing chocolate flavor with the hint of maple. And the booziness is delightful.

This was quite delightful. So much like a shandy and you also have the tequila bit. Very enjoyable, but it was almost unbeer-like.
