Backwoods Bastard (2016) H.

Cellar aged 5.5 years. Most flavors have fallen off. Sweet malt and molasses hitting so smooth that it’s almost watery. Aged too long IMO.

Black Hole H.

Cellared 7–10 years (I lost track). Still had a ton of coffee and hops pounding the pallet. Don’t know what it was like fresh, but it must have been mind bending.

Canadian Breakfast Stout (CBS) (2017) H.

Maple forward with a barrel body, and a finish of chocolate and a hint of bitter malt. Coffee notes almost totally gone. Very sweet. Cellar aged.

Backwoods Bastard (2014) H.

Malty caramel all day long. Delicious! 6 years is the sweet spot for these. FLN
