Kentucky Breakfast Stout (KBS) 2024 Scott
Gotta have the original in every iteration. Always delicious, but I feel like I’m getting more chocolate. Ain’t mad at it.

Canadian Breakfast Stout (CBS) (2023) Scott
Outstanding! Rich, decadent, awesome. Chocolate, coffee, maple syrup, and bourbon barrel. Subtle notes of vanilla and oak. Less sweet than the previous version, which makes it near perfect. I’m glad they brought this one back!

Christmas breakfast dessert beer! Man, she’s sweet! But, oh so tasty. Hints of oak, heavy vanilla, cinnamon, and maple. Great aroma! Merry Christmas!

I can’t rate this one. Been sick and my taste buds are shot. I think it’s pretty good though. I can taste the hops, and I feel like there’s some coffee. Happy Thanksgiving and Go Cowboys!!

KBS Chocolate Cherry (2022) Scott
Giving this one another taste. I actually like it better today. Getting more of a sweet cherry addition to the chocolate, and coffee. Slightly bitter finish. Ain’t mad it.

Delightful beer. Big hints of bourbon barrel, smooth, rich and boozy. I’m not getting much cherry, but heavy chocolate. Wonderful beer.

Great beer, but probably my least favorite of the KBS series. Heavy chocolate notes, coffee and very rich, but the blueberries provide a tartness that I’m not accustomed to, from a series that leans on sweetness.

4 Giants Tropical Treasure Scott
Tropical in smell. Bursting with flavors. Juicy, soft, some pineapple, citrus. Awesome beer. Excellent for patio sitting after yard work on a hot day.

Very tropical in smell. Grapefruit heavy on taste. Slight agave hints, and a hoppy, boozy finish.

KBS Maple Mackinac Fudge Scott
Great beer. Starts really sweet, but evens as it warms. I’m not getting much barrel aged flavor though. Lots of other flavors.

Hanging with Rob B. Has rubbed off on me. I really enjoy barrel aged beer. I chose this good one for my 1200th beer. Lots going on here with the Scotch barrel adding some bitterness.

I really like this beer. The spices really make it enjoyable with that subtle sweet of brown sugar on the finish. Tastes like autumn and Pumpkin pie in a bottle.

Just an average IPA. The milk sugar seems to balance it and gives a sweeter flavor but, oddly bitter on the back end.

What a great beer. A little on the sweet side, but the maple syrup, vanilla, and bourbon age complements each other oh so deliciously. Lots of horsepower too.
