Oooh, how lovely. So smooth, slightly creamy. Essence of raspberry. Well done! Smashable.

The hazy IPA lookin one in the pic, ofc. Definitely gives grapefruit bitterness. A bit perfumey at first (That’s a word, right?), but it settled. Also, I’m so full.

2nd from left. Simple, straightforward, as it should be. Light-bodied, light hoppiness, with citrusy bitterness. Maybe my favorite of the taproom exclusives I tried today.

Far left. Malty, light, very slight crispness to me. Easily identifiable as a Pilsner. It’s clean, and I like it. It’s growing on me more as I go!

Not actually spicy (as reviews and staff confirmed), but a distinct pepper flavor to it. Tastes kinda like a slightly watered-down Mexican mocha, but then with a boozy finish. Would drink a taster portion again!

Far right. Really soft. I noticed other reviews agreed it packs less of a punch than you’d expect of a Gose, so at least I was prepared. Don’t agree with the “tart” tag. Tastes a bit like lip balm from Claire’s 🤷🏼♀️ but yay for 1st Grand Rapids visit!

Strong and hoppy, malty but not in the way that upsets my taste buds. Is in fact pretty pungent, as advertised.

Starts out with some classic citrusy juice, quite creamy, and then the oats came out as I ate my fried pickles. Maybe slightly too…bready? for me to drink a bunch, but it’s solid! And it’s been a long time since I had Bdubs.

After reading the hop list and the general reviews, I feel like I maybe got a dud can of this? More of a sudsy, dank bitterness to it than a “citrusy hop character.” 🤷🏼♀️ Still not terrible, somehow, but yeah!

Family game night, first time playing Just One! This is in fact an “all day” sessionable IPA. Just enough bitterness to keep it interesting.

Light, fruity juicy hops. Aromatic but not too much so. Easy. Nice to be back on the Michigan beers!

“For ¥3000, it’s not worth it. It for ¥1500….” 😎👌🏼 Like a red wine, with a kick of awesome sourness typical of a Lambic. Good stuff!

Umm. It’s sour. It’s strong. It’s ok. Somehow sweet while being sour? It’s hard for me to get through, tbh. Not my favorite Founders 🤷🏼♀️ But hey, that’s okay! I’ll get the Mackinac fudge again next time

Bought this bc the label is just *so* me, but unfortunately the flavor didn’t deliver for me 😭 Soft and floral, and a bit soapy. Simcoe wasn’t on the can but is most def in here. Foiled again! Wasn’t awful, but also didn’t finish it lol.

“It tastes like a beer that a viking would drink at his son’s wedding...” The maple isn’t too sweet, which I’m thankful for. It doesn’t taste as strong as it is, so be careful ⚠️ Would appreciate more in the winter. Need a palate cleanser afterward.

Paired with 100% cacao, which made us appreciate the richness of this one! Hard to tell through the booziness whether coffee or chocolate is the stronger flavor. This is a solid one, but I like other Founders stouts even more!

KBS Maple Mackinac Fudge (2020)
Mackinac fudge! In a beer! With maple! Roasted edge to it, such a nostalgic flavor and it goes so well with the cookies and I’m very happy 😭 (Bryan agrees)

I actually like this better than eating actual raspberry chocolates! So, congrats to the folks at Founders 👏🏼 Decadent but not too much.

Probably not the best decision to have this last, considering how light and malty it is. Slight caramel hints save it for that tho.

Everyone else says it’s not too sweet! Tastes like maple syrup to me, straight-up. Little bitter twist at the end.

I think this is my first gluten-free beer? Maybe? Tastes like the all-free Suntory stuff to me
