The Perfect Pairing Pale Ale Stauffer

Not bad, has a juicy feel, lighter than expected. Could drink another in a hot day.

120 Minute IPA (2016) Stauffer

Logging this again, 8 years later. Mmmmm doggie. A bit more acidic than I remember, with the boozy burn without the boozy taste. A touch of honey and about 46 different flavors, hop profiles, and emotions. Like a fine wine, 120 improves with age!

All Day Grapefruit Stauffer

A bit better than expected. Grapefruit will always have a special place in my IPA genre favorites selection. Easy drinker and another perfect beach beer playlist. First picnic of the year on thos perfect 80° April Sunday!!

All Day West Coast Stauffer

Hoppy and light. Lacks a bit of flavor, but it's a session. Easy drinker while keeping the hop head happy.

All Night IPA Stauffer

In all honesty, this mixed pack is a new go-to for flavorful easy drinker sessions. More flavor than expected for a pack of sub-5% brews. This has a nice roasty back one without ignoring the hops.

120 Minute IPA (2015) Stauffer

Finally cracked this open after 8 years with one of the 4 guys that went in with a case. And it's freaking phenomenal. So much more complex, still boozy but somewhat more smooth than expected. Will make this the winner of the evening by far.

All Day Chill Day Stauffer

All day has found a way to make my day by making flavorful IPAs. I did my best to do a dad rhyme there... But this session actually has a lot more flavor and substance than expected, just like the original all day IPA. Easily a go-to.

Tru-Action IPA Stauffer

Not your typical IPA... But pretty good! Expected nothing less from Dogfish Head.

Where the Wild Hops Are Stauffer

While this isn't exactly the IPA I was expecting, as it breaks away from traditional hops and DFH IPA style, I give an extra star for DFH accomplishing exactly what they were looking for: subtle oakiness, unique earthy hop varieties, and wild-ish. Nice.

Firefly Ale Stauffer

Good to be home in Delaware at Uncle Sam's joint. This is surprisingly bright and refreshing despite it's color.

Helles From the Wood Stauffer

Ahhh, good ole helles lagers. Makes me want to put on some flannels and split some wood for the wood stove. Lager-y, lighter, woody, and just good. Didn't expect anything less from Dogfish Head.

Primitive Flora Stauffer

I can definitely recognize the pilsner malts, and it has a lighter body. Surprised it clocks in at 7.5%. Can appreciate the hops, but not bitter. Clear light pilsner yellow color, but is an IPA! Pilsner IPA with light body and heavier ABV 🤯

Immort Ale Stauffer

Malty, grainy, a bit nutty, with a raisin-y aroma. Hints of vanilla, maple, but definitely oaky.

120 Minute IPA (2020) Stauffer

Felt I had to log this beer again with a new batch year... July 2020. Thank you Tyler Brown for snagging this. Muddier than I remember. Very complex, heavy, boozy, and hop galore. 120 IBU is not an overstatement. First, and possibly last, beer of the day.

KBS Maple Mackinac Fudge Stauffer

Incredible. Pure liquid fudge with maple undertones. Dark, heavy, and incredibly creamy. Pure bliss.

Panther Cub Stauffer

I love maple syrup. Hence, I can really appreciate this porter. Bourbon aroma on the nose, but not overwhelming on the palate like many other bourbon-barrel darks. Fluffy and full mouth feel with more maple than vanilla and a subtle burnt roasted end.
