I love Founders Porter. Do I like this more or less? Not sure.

Tastes strongly of beer and grapefruit. Pretty dry and light on the palate, which surprised me. I like it. Nice and balanced.

There's a tinge of alcohol that kicks through everything. Sweetness has mellowed out.

It's a spicy Blushing Monk! I love it. It's also Day 11 of the Founders advent calendar. The bottle didn't have any description of the beer. I'm really curious to learn more about this one!

Day 10 of Founders advent calendar. It's from 2019. I think the year has mellowed it out a bit. Really nice. I like how it's less sweet than regular KBS.

Day 7 of Founders Advent calendar. I remember this one, and I like it just as much as I remember it. Sweet and molasses-y.

Day 4 of Founders advent calendar. Normally not a big barley wine guy, but this one's pretty good. I like how it doesn't overwhelm me with alcohol, flavor or funky flavor. It's kind of like a brown ale.

I respect what they're going for here. It's sweet and tastes like raspberry and chocolate. It's a nice one to split with a friend.

Honestly, this isn't really my style of beer these days. That being said, this one isn't too heavy on the tongue. A lighter mouth feel. Nothing like Guinness, but hopefully you get the idea. Lots of vanilla coming through and I like that flavor.
