IPA - Cold. Guess we stopped calling these lagers. Anyway, this is really nice.

Pretty nice stuff. The hazelnut adds a ton of character to an already good batch of KBS. Nothing overwhelms, great balance balance between the hazelnut and the coffee and chocolate. Heavy body, light carb, bourbon barrel hazelnut and coffee aftertaste.

Fine. The problem here is that the flour added only finishes the already very light flavor. The flavor isn't off-putting by any means, just bland. The very light flavors happening are nice. Crusher for sure.

Really nice, chocolate, bourbon, coffee, vanilla, heavy malt and nearly nonexistent hop presence and Founders yeast. Medium body, light carb, bourbon and light coffee aftertaste.

Revisit. Caramel and toffee without being too sweet, Founders yeast and a strong hop backbone. Light to medium body, light carb, somewhat dry with a sweet woody and bitter hop aftertaste. Important beer for me, always a classic.

Insanely bitter, odd roasted note, pine, sticky malt, Founders yeast, wood, incredibly astringent. Medium body, light carb, bitter and slightly roasty aftertaste. Yikes, this is tough.

Initially a ton of vanilla, light maple syrup, light barrel, followed by resounding bitterness half caused by roasted malt and half caused by hops. medium body, light carb, bitter roasty light vanilla aftertaste. It's fine.

Not clean enough. Despite it's lack of soul, this drinks ok. Light wheat flavor with some tea notes and hop bitterness. Light body, light carb, sweet tea and bitter hop aftertaste.

Finally ready to give this a 5. This was the first dark beer that made me say "whoa." Absolutely perfect balance between roasted malt and hop, so much flavor yet so balanced. I've yet to find a better porter that is more true to style.

Possibly a desert island beer. Just a beautiful execution, deep roasted malt, coffee, dark chocolate, followed by the a perfect hop balance. It's rich and balanced. Medium to heavy body, light carb, rich roasted malt aftertaste.
