#Latertappd from midsummer night. Best before 04.02.2040 but decided to pop this fella … I’m not convinced that this would have gotten any better in 15+ years more. It’s light, cherry, tad yeasty, some cola notes but that’s not enough, thin it is.

Roasty nearly ashy, dry, hint of coffee, some barrel impact but too bad couldn’t recognise much rum notes and surprisingly light for 10% ABV. Feels more like porter than stout. Nearly 4-.

Decided to make some room for ageing other beers as I think that this doesn’t improve towards BB 31/01/2040. I might be wrong but I have doubts that anyone will come back to me after 16 years. 😅 Cherries in taste, dry acidic and thin.

Lil’ treat for me while wrapping Christmas presents. Acidic, acerbic, peevish you got the point, not the most perfect match for my tastebuds. Heavy cherry but bit thin base. BB 31.01.2040 .. maybe I should’ve wait for 16 years more. 🤔 One left to stash.

Pretty much on the level with beer geek fudgesicle versions. Coffee instead of cocoa here. BB 23/07/30 … maybe I should’ve waited longer. 🤷♂️

Last one from the stash. Oh my, this one aged well! Half year ago I was sure these wouldn’t age well anymore but boy I was wrong. This is damn good now and of course I do have any left anymore. 🤣 Bottled 12/05/2016

Yeasty and bit unpleasant … maybe I should’ve waited until 12/11/25 as the laser print suggested. Barrel impact is heavy.
