Canadian Breakfast Stout (CBS) (2019) S
Not holding up nearly as well as I thought it would. I bought a case in 2019 and let a bunch sit in the cellar based on the reviews and reputation of CBS. Now that the beer is pretty flat, I'm stuck trying to finish the case before it gets worse.

The trick is to drink this beer on the rocks. The ice cuts the flavors just enough and it tastes like a beer margarita. Goes great with tacos too!

KBS Maple Mackinac Fudge (2020) S
The smell of fudge before you even take a sip is amazing. The taste does not disappoint as fudge, maple, coffee, and bourbon flavors come through in that order. I fall in love with this beer more each time I drink it. Please brew more in 2021 Founders!

This beer is definitely different. It tastes like a stout and an IPA were mixed together. It's not terrible but I don't think I'd buy another 4 pack.

I get vanilla flavor from start to finish. A little barrel flavoring, but no maple. It's a good barrel aged beer, don't get me wrong, but it's missing something. For me, I think the vanilla tastes too artificial.

Kentucky Breakfast Stout (KBS) (2019) S
Mmmmm, coffee, bourbon, chocolate in that order. Smooth, and extremely pleasant to sip on in any weather and any time of day. Starting to run out of my 2019 stock. I hope the 2021 version tastes as good.

I'm not a huge IPA fan to begin with, so I like the taste of the milk sugar that takes some of the hoppy bitterness away. Rated an extra .25 for finding it on sale for 33 cents a can.
