When considered as a Weiss, the mildly tart fruit is a nice deviation from the standard wheat ale approach. Potential peach though that could be citrus running against the normal warmer flavors

A pretty standard IPA, fitting the all day brand. Nothing incredibly special but solid overall

A.very solid hazy. The haze funk is a slightly bigger presence which is nice, but ultimately pretty mild

KBS Spicy Chocolate (2023) Kearney
The chocolate is quite prominent with mild chili notes. It could serve to be spicier and lean more in the chili element to keep up with some of its peers, but still quite good

A pretty standard hazy. Solid amount of flavor for the relatively low abv but ultimately nothing special

Maltier than expected with some sweeter notes to complement. Not super bitter or citrusy overall

4 Giants Tropical Treasure Kearney
Bright and pretty mild overall. Some funk and citrus come through primarily, but relatively light considering the ABV

The standard barrel aged KBS goodness. Sweet vanilla, coffee, and dark chocolate. The blueberry, unfortunately skews the flavors awkwardly. The tart and fruity flavors don't fully complement the expected flavors really well but it's still quite good

A fine IPA, though not incredibly memorable. Hoppy and dry while having enough bitter citrus to qualify it as a hazy

Strong chocolate flavors with mild fruit tartness on the back end. Not quite as interesting or tasty as other KBS variants but still pretty great

Boozy and sweet, leaning on maple and caramel flavors primarily. It's balanced out by a rather dry finish to help it from becoming a dessert-like beer

Malty and bittersweet from some fruit notes. Not super noteworthy, but pretty enjoyable overall

Bitter and hop forward, with a mild amount of malt to help balance it out.

Malty while still refreshing. Not incredibly exciting but mild enough to enjoy

Tart berry from the blushing monk that's accentuated by the barrel aging. The tequila flavors add enough nuance to make it pretty interesting

QUARTER LIFE CRISIS - FOUNDERS 25TH ANNIVERSARY BEER Kearney
The nut brown really comes through a long with smooth chocolate notes. Very drinkable for how punchy it is

A solid riff on a classic. It's light and refreshing with enough hops and body to separate itself from the pilsner crowd

Classic KBS flavors pair well with the hazelnut up front, giving it a somewhat Nutella vibe. The hazelnut ends up fading a bit quickly, unfortunately

Mandarin & Mango Crush Kearney
A well balanced fruit ale. The orange notes don't overwhelm and pair well with the malt. The bitterness has a slightly odd funkiness in the aftertaste but overall a pretty good experience for what it is

Utopias Barrel - Aged World Wide Stout (2021) Kearney
Punchy and full of flavor. The dark chocolate and barrel aging really bring a deep sweetness to this variation

Light and crisp with some malty notes to keep it somewhat interesting

A mild fruit foundation, enhanced by mild hibiscus sweetness. The major flavors are more like a well seasoned marinara sauce. Black pepper, sage, and basil come through strong

Bitter notes that stem from the black tea, but very little else. Most of the flavor profile is weak, almost watery.

KBS Cinnamon Vanilla Cocoa Kearney
The boozy punch of the KBS complemented by the perfect amount of cinnamon spice and chocolatey sweetness. Really decadent

Bright and crisp with intense sour notes. The white wine barrels really speak to the flavor profile

For a farmhouse ale there was not a whole lot going on. Missing some key funkiness to set it apart from the rest of the pack

Shockingly citrus. The orange notes come through at the forefront with a more standard boozy bitterness afterwards

Some maple sweetness pairs really well with a rich chocolate flavor up front which, after it fades, evolves to coffee

Key lime-ish almost. The lime tartness comes with some sweetness and slowly reverts back to a standard lighter beer

Nitro U.N.I.T.Y Cinnamon Coffee Stout Kearney
Nitro - lacking a lot of flavor (probably related to the nitro) with some coffee and ground cinnamon notes being the primary drivers

Más Agave Prickly Pear Kearney
Very sweet and mildly tart. Kind of like a blend of the cherry and watermelon jolly ranchers

Boozy with a heavy emphasis on hops. Not overly impressive but definitely punchy

Light, almost flavorless. Some nice wheat sweetness sneaks in eventually but not enough to save this from being pretty dull overall
