Christmas Beer #5 - Loads of roasty coffee on the nose. Great mouthfeel. Bitter coffee, dark roasted malts and chocolate are prominent in the mouth. The bourbon is there but really quite subtle. Sweet malty notes linger on the finish. Very nice 👌

Another oldish can (canned early March) but it’s holding up pretty well. Citrus & tropical notes on the nose. Pours a thick hop soup. Decent mouthfeel. In the mouth citrus and stone fruits. Still nicely bitter and hoppy on the finish. Nice

Really easy drinking session IPA this. Light and hoppy with a bitter finish.

Canadian Breakfast Stout (CBS) (2019) Wood
I don't buy beers from this brewery because of the recent employee racism issues. But this was a gift from my son so I am drinking it. It's delicious. Lots of coffee, well balanced bourbon and subtle maple syrup. Really good mouthfeel. It's a shame 😢
