Big hints of lime. Salty but not overkill. Decent sour, citrus finish. I’m not a big fan of sours, but this one is decent.

Oh so much better then the Kentucky blueberry barrel aged stout. Rich, thick, big on the blueberry’s and the bourbon shines through!! I guess the blueberry’s in Michigan are way better than the ones in Kentucky!! Ph so good!!

Highball Drifter (2022) S

Bottled on 6/9/22, yet still a bit boozy. The cherries hit me up front with caramel. Spicy and orange peel on the down side with some hints of bourbon (not enough) Sadly too thin for me!! Spicy finish. From my Belmonts beer club 6 pack.

Last one of a 4 pack, bottled on 8/26/21. Mellowed out nicely. Coffee and cocoa nibs up front. Smooth hints of the bourbon barrel. Sweet vanilla and cinnamon on the down side. Oh so nice!!

Bottle Shop Series Belgian Twist S

Lots of yeast, lots of sweetness upfront hints of orange, says it has a substantial amount of blue agave nectar, that may be what I’m tasting that has bitterness??? It’s not that great. Has a nice dry finish

Last time I had one of these it was overkill on sweetness. This one is hints of sweetness upfront with much more coffee and dark cocoa bitterness going down. Appears to be different batches. Still a very good beer! Hardly any hints of the barrel.

OMG! I got lucky! This is wonderful! Cellared @ Christmas 2019. Pulled out last year, cellared again pulled out last week and Fu••k, it I decided to drink it! Chocolate, coffee, Mild bitter finish. Hints of barrel. Smooth!!! OMG this is delicious!

Desert after turkey, ham, mashed potato, and much more!! It pared well with my pumpkin cheesecake. Oh yeah, sugar sweetness overkill!!! All the sweetness seems to hide the coffee. Nice barrel. The pumpkin cheesecake gets a 4.85!!!

Smooth up front, nutty, lotsa chocolate and sweetness from vanilla. I like the coffee bitterness on the finish. From my Belmonts beer club!!

Brown ale on steroids! Coffee and sweet chocolate upfront, more sweetness from the barrel going down. Smooth, creamy, sweet and roasted. Very drinkable.

Underground Mountain Brown (2020) S

Another awesome beer! Oaky, smoky, dark roasted bittersweet coffee up front. Hints of sweetness from the barrel? caramel going down with a wicked bitter coffee finish. Been sitting since August 2020, seems to have smoothed, mellow boozy ness!!

American Beauty Hazy Ripple IPA S

Tropical fruit, juicy and hazy. Decent hop balance. Somewhere around your typical hazy IPA. Enjoyed it in the garage.

Panther Cub (2021) S

Big sweetness upfront from the maple and vanilla. A bit boozy. As it warms hints of a nutty roasted porter starts to comes out (thank goodness). Rich with slight bitterness on the finish. After warming it mellows out. Nice!

Backwoods Bastard (2020) S

Oaky, sweet bourbon, smoky, scotch ale, caramel, earthy. WICKED!! And damn good!!

So rich, dark chocolate/fudge and dark roast coffee up front. Big hints of barrel going down with a bit of maple syrup sweetness. I could sip on this all night! From my Belmonts beer club 6 pack. Gotta get some more! 4.666

Wonderful Rich BA coffee stout. Not overly boozy and lots of espresso. Nice amount of barrel and some nice bitterness on the down side! Birthday gift from my bride.

Unraveled IPA S

Nice, not too juicy, mildly hoppy. Smooth and sweet, very drinkable on a hot summer day. Mellow!
