It's a bit sweeter than the 2018 version. Otherwise it still has the intense coffee and chocolate notes with a hint of vanilla.

Nice mix of bitter coffee and bittersweet chocolate with a hint of bourbon vanilla to add a creamy / softening note. Subtle sweetness, bitter coffee and a chocolate and vanilla finish.

Got an insane deal on a number of these. Heavy on the coffee with notes of chocolate and vanilla. Bitter, roasty with a mild sweet note.

Sounds Good BA 2022 Mulders

Chocolate, nutty, a hint of spice and a nice subtle booziness on top. Good stuff

Smoky, spicy with quite some barrel notes. Chocolate and a hint of vanilla with quite some spice. Good stuff!

Not a fan. Barrel influence is not noticeable, not a lot of extra flavor aside from the obvious bready bock notes. Not a fan of this one.

Breakfast Stout Mulders

Lot of coffee on this one. Bitter coffee and a couple of sweet notes. It's a nice interesting brew bit not truly special.

Mexican Hot Chocolate BA Imperial Stout 2022 Mulders

Lot of adjuncts listed on the label. The only ones that truly revealed themselves are the cinnamon, chocolate and the chilies, supported by a tiny whiff of bourbon vanilla. I liked it, but it will probably be too hot (🔥) for most.

KBS Cinnamon Vanilla Cocoa (2021) Mulders

Smells like a cinnamon bun with roasted notes. Vanilla on the taste, followed by cinnamon spiciness and bitter coffee notes. Mildly sweet, bit thin. Decent offering though but not exceptional.

KBS Espresso (2021) Mulders

Nose has toffee and caramel. Taste is like a very good shot of espresso. Once the beer warms up a bit sweetness starts to appear on the aftertaste mellowing the initial bitterness that accompanies the coffee. Mouth feel is a little thin unfortunately.

Oude Geuze Apogee Mulders

Sour, Apple juice, slight funk from (I assume) the wild yeast. Wood notes.
