Dusty dark roast coffee and unusually hoppy for stout, lightly spiced. Hides 17% remarkably well

Creamy smooth deliciousness🍻 A little sweet and even less hoppy but balanced and flavorful. I went crazy on the Marzens a few years back and have grown a little weary of them, but this was excellent—a favorite in the style

Cocoa roast caramel malt, balanced and balancing hops bill, spicy, hints citrus and cedar. Loathe to pick favorites, but now Bell’s is foreign this might be my new go-to. Intricate lacing🍻

I know I had this one at Mason’s but must've got too gone to check it in. Morgan says it's been cellaring here 3 years and guesses 21%. Prunes, raisins, rye spice, vanilla, apricot, some boozy heat. A little water opened out some tangerine

Giving this another try,in view of it being one of the more enticing bombers displayed,and my continued animus at its southerly neighbor selling out to a🇦🇺conglomerate.Mature,almost desiccated,malt dominates,so I checked the date to see 16½ months old🙄

No shortage of cinnamon or golden syrple here (juste un soupçon d’érable) in this breakfasty bruiser. Cinnamon's not usually my thing but this is the smoothest, finest variety I know: nothing off in this treat which hides its heat
