Oude Geuze Boon (2018-2019) Nyikos
Proof positive that Brettanomyces does not cure all nor produce beer that is unbelievable by adding it to whatever. Simply put, I don’t like Geuzes. I’ve tried many, and they are just not for me. I’m sure it’s a lovely Geuze.

No photo, so did it happen…yes. Yes it did. Pours light and hazy with a rocky foam. Noses all IPA. Interesting citrus and bitterness. Would I have it again? Yes. Yes I would.

Known winners make life more enjoyable or at least predictable. This one made my keg when I lived local. Remains a lovely house IPA.

Ah ‘Merica. Tight foam lends a smooth palate. Nice hoppy bitterness and overall balance. Lovely house IPA.
