Really easy drinking hazy. Does really drink more like a 5% which could be dangerous. Citrusy, with a little grapefruit on the finish. Very quaffable!

KBS Hazelnut (2022) J.

Big hazelnut, kinda overpowering for me. If you love hazelnut then this is for you. Roasty base with coffee and only a hint of chocolate.

KBS Maple Mackinac Fudge J.

Tasty. Chocolate, subtle coffee and fudge. Pretty good.

Kentucky Breakfast Stout (KBS) (2019) J.

Found in a liquor store recently. Not sure if it is due to its age (unlikely cellared in the right conditions) but the bourbon barrel flavours are v. subtle to none. The main thing that sticks out is coffee, with the chocolate less prominent. Boozy.

Canadian Breakfast Stout (CBS) (2019) J.

Very tasty. The maple is subtle but noticeable initially along with a sweetness that passes and exposes the coffee and darker notes. More flavours develop as it warms a little. Boozy but still smooth.

Siracusa Nera J.

Maybe this is a old bottle (couldn’t find a date) or maybe this is how it’s supposed to taste.. but this is sour. Resembles (bad) red wine more than a stout. Not into it, couldn't finish it.
