Canadian Breakfast Stout (CBS) (2018) Janson

Pretty fruity on the nose, dark/stone fruits. Chocolate and cherry aroma. On the palate, thin texture, lots of maple and wood notes. Good amount of chocolate coming through. Overall pretty good, seems to have held up well over the five years.

World Wide Stout - Bourbon Barrel Aged Janson

Not much on the nose but the flavors pack a punch. Good mouthfeel with a strong, sweet black coffee flavor. The barrel aging is blended in well. It is a strong beer, good for sipping.

Backwoods Bastard Janson

Bottled 10-18-22. On the nose, malt, bourbon and caramel. On the palate, malty, woody notes with more caramel and sugars. Light smoke to it which is nice. It's strong but smooth.

Nordic Spring Janson

Hazy pour. On the nose, citrus peel, lemon and sugar. On the palate, orange citrus, juniper berries and pine. All subtle flavors that blend very well together. Clean, crisp refreshing and sweet.

Walking Run Janson

Good malt flavors, hoppy and smooth. Slightly bitter with good citrus flavors.

Kernza Pils Janson

Traditional pilsner look and aroma. Crisp, floral notes with subtle spices. Subtle citrus notes and very earthy.

Festina Pêche Janson

Hazy golden yellow pour. Unfiltered. On the nose, peach tea and raspberry are pretty fragrant. On the palate, green apple is dominant with a strong tartness and peach on the finish.

Where the Wild Hops Are Janson

There's a lot going on here. On the nose, very strong sweet citrus/lemon notes and baby powder? with a tang to it. Hoppy. First sip it's strong but blended very well. Citrus, oak, very different. Slight dryness and saltiness. Very complex.

60 Minute IPA Janson

On the nose, citrus and malt. On the palate, citrus forward with a slight bitterness and dryness. Smooth, almost syrupy. The finish is dry and sweet and stays for a while.

Slightly Mighty Janson

Citrus and hoppy with a light potpourri scent. Very light and smooth with no bitterness and a slight dryness on the finish. Wheat and citrus flavors are the dominant. Very sweet.

Breakfast Stout Janson

Very good black coffee taste, smooth with no bitterness and a slight oatmeal smell to go along with it.
