Bruocsella 1900 Grand Cru A.

Birthday present to myself, classic geuze notes with maybe a slightly prickly sourness balanced with an incredibly soft water.

Geuze Boon Sélection A.

Outstanding and totally unique Geueze experience. Low carbonation allows for its moderate body and mouthfeel to really stand out. Boon's best.

Nath (2021) A.

Had on Zwanze day. Absolutely incredible rhubarb tartness and very refined, understated funk.

Punkin Ale A.

Middle-of-the-road Pumpkin beer. Could stand to benefit from a bit more leaning on its brown sugar notes.

Classic Gueuze A.

Legendary, and somehow capable of living up to the hype. Exceptionally balanced, basically a perfect Lambic.

Geuze Mariage Parfait A.

Beautiful, funk-forward Geuze with a bit too much alcoholic heat that flattens out the palate. So close to perfection, but Boon's stuff just tends one or two percentage points too high in their ABV.

Oude Geuze Boon à l'Ancienne - VAT 109 Mono Blend A.

It's Boon and a Gueuze so I can't be too hard on it, but my bottle definitely had some strongly oxidized character that cut against a deeply funky, earthy blend.

Dirty Bastard A.

Exceptionally warm, smooth beer. Great spice and malt flavors.

Bottle Shop Series Highball Drifter A.

I honestly would go lower if I weren't held back by the understanding this is just very distinctly not my thing. Strong barrel notes are too oppressive for me to get through.

Breakfast Stout A.

Incredible dessert stout. Lovely body and incredible oat-y, syrupy finish.
