Maltier and wheatier than the Weetabix factory 🤣 Good strong alcoholic feels. Slightly overwhelming for me but a good beer perhaps for those with a palette for it.

45 Days of Darkness Newey

It’s got a beautiful dark caramel colour. Smells Uber malty. Tastes it too. Nice and thick. It’s like cold alcoholic Ovaltine! Really rich. Lovely alcoholic aftertaste.

Nocturnal Newey

Lovely smooth vanilla aroma on pour and good head retention. On taste is is just as smooth too. A real vanilla cream pastry/ice cream flavour with a slight smokiness makes this very pleasurable. Not too artificial. Medium mouthfeel. Hits the remit well.

Jule Mælk Rhum Barrel Aged (2020) Newey

So much aroma! The house smells like rum truffles! It tastes just like them too with all the maltiness and chocolate included. Medium to thick consistency. Great alcoholic burn on lips and throat. So well executed.

Stolen Jingle Berries Newey

Strong blackcurrant aroma. The taste is very tart. All the berries feature strongly and have a very earthy authentic flavour. Beautiful colour.

Chugwork Orange Newey

I love these creamy style fruity IPAs. I’ve had ones with strawberry and raspberry before but first go with orange. Fresh and bitter fruit taste with smoothness of cream like an ice cream. Good head retention and sensible level of hops for style.

Red Eye Stout Newey

A nice dry raspberry Berliner. A touch thin and low on the flavour but lovely and bright. Ideal for a summer session.

Gorm the Old - Rum Cask Edition Newey

A real big beer. Very strong rum and oak profile from its BA. Feels of a good high quality base stout but lacked some roastiness. It could have been masked. Still a cracking beer though.
