What I noticed first were the boozy, sugary notes—not the IBUs. Once my taste buds acclimated to this sweetness, I found it somewhat similar to enjoying a barleywine or fortified wine. The price for this experience? $9 and 450 calories per 12 ounces!

I got stuck with an old (10+ mos.) four-pack, but this still tastes alright. Tastes boozier than its stated ABV.
