Founders Oktoberfest (2023) Foster

Got in a kroger pick-your-own six pack thinking it was Sierra Nevada. Iffy on founders after the tap room closure and all that. Pretty good toasty marzen though.

Utopias Barrel-Aged 120 Minute IPA Foster

While cold: it is straight caramel with a hint of butterscotch. Fading into huge malt and a surprisingly light burn. Hops come through in an interesting way, mild earthy bitterness meshing into the alcohol and a dark spirit flavor. Unique :)

90 Minute Imperial IPA Foster

Smell is odd for an ipa, more malt than hops and some weird funky smell. Taste is very malty and sweet with some dark resin/pine hops and ending with a relatively sharp bitterness due to the booze peaking through. Could rate higher another day :)

60 Minute IPA Foster

Nice light, refreshing ipa. Clean bitterness and a little sweet, not particularly malty sweetness. Maybe a little tropical fruit peel flavor in hops. Well balanced and good for most occasions :)
