I've been sitting on this, and it never gets picked in a bottle share. 🤷♂️. Tonight was a WTF not night. Very smooth and hides the 17.3%?!?!?! well. Not much malt, but a good warmth.

My annual tradition. The pumpkin beer that convinced me the style wasn't pure nastiness. Persistence pays off I guess. If you're counting, yes it's Tuesday. Yes, this is beer #3. I just got off 8 days of duty and fall beers are out. Don't judge me.

Aged very well. Definite sherry notes, but the cake flavors came out without overpowering. I bought this on a 40th birthday trip and opened it for my 45th birthday.

Grilled steak tonight and it called for a stout. Didn't want a bomber or barrel aged. Rummaged in the back of the fridge and found this from 2016. Excellent pairing!
