Very fun. Cinnamon/vanilla/cocoa are somewhat limited, which is probably good. It works well, and doesn't stray all that far from regular KBS.

Bottle Shop Series Highball Drifter Sparr

Way less like an old fashioned than the Central Waters one from a year or two ago, but it's better.

Nemesis (2021) Sparr

Somewhat hoppy barleywine. Not that much depth for me.

Velvet Rush Sparr

Perfectly done. Not as much barrel as the big stouts, but that would have been a mistake here. It needs to be more subtle. Dead on. Other flavors come together really well.

A dark barleywine that is a little more bitter than expected.

Everything was too tame. It's fine, but I wanted more.

Really good depth, not massive body. Nice coffee, good barrel.

Marvelroast (2020) Sparr

Really good. Coffee is big enough, and the base beer has more too it than a lot of these light colored coffee beers.
