4 Giants Tropical Treasure (2023) Barney

This IPA bombards. Your palate with pineapple/tangerine and lemon The lingering bitterness accentuates this big, bold, hazy. Haven't had 4 giants from Founders in a couple of years.This was a nice twist on the 4 giant's grain bill. Awesome can art

Mortal Bloom Barney

Mouthfeel is good, soft, and supported by solid carbonation. The first thing I noticed was papaya and mango, orange. Earthy and a strong malt base. A nice balance of carbonation and flavors.

90 Minute Imperial IPA Barney

This had a perfect balance between sweet and hoppy. A powerful alcohol taste....in a good way. A sweet malty and spicy and floral. Pre beer Sunday.

KBS Spicy Chocolate (2023) Barney

Dark chocolate soaking in whiskey barrels. Oaky whiskey barrel. Roasty malts and cinnamon a slight chili pepper warmth. Some fudge and vanilla. Overall, it's pretty damn good.

KBS Barney

Haven't had the pleasure of this beer in 5 years. I'm going for another revisit. Obviously, it's one of the world's best stouts.Just my opinion. Dark chocolate and coffee tones A cappuccino in the glass.Creamy and roast with that oak barrel character.

Snowbound Vanilla Porter Barney

This is pretty one-dimensional malt /vanilla chocolate. It's pretty much a malted chocolate vanilla milkshake. Slight bitterness zero alcohol taste. Not one of my favorites from Founders.

Chocolate Cherry KBS Barney

Yes, Monday nightcap has to come. So I'm finishing with anybody who knows craftbeer. KBS from founders. The cherry isn't overpowering, but the chocolate develops nicely. The bourbon kicks in at the back end as well as the vanilla and coffee.

Citrus Squall Barney

This was incredibly refreshing ,almost cloudy yellow appearance. The taste is grapefruit candy. And an aguva tequila taste don't think tequila was added. Just a perception. Some creamy vanilla a nice full flavored fruit beer.

4 Giants IPA (2022) Barney

A lost beer in my fridge. The aromas have grapefruit and citrus as well as pine. The taste follows the nose. Medium body and light carbonation. A nice balance of sweet and bitterness

4 Giants Tropical Treasure Barney

Nice injection of tropical fruits especially candid- lemon and pineapple. Some coconut and vanilla and honey, nice tasting hazy just wish the balance was better.

Crimson Cru Barney

Wow sour dough and Carmel, red fruits. Stone fruits and dark spice. Of apple and pear, cherries and brown sugar. And a touch of old wood. Reminds me of a sour flanders red ale. Belgian goodness in a glass.

Sweet Repute Barney

This beer is a lot to take on the palate. Not overly sweet. But massive and malty. Maple syrup and bourbon hits hard. Pine resin, Carmel, molasses,oak,toffee,clove and white grape. So massive and complex. This will warm you in a blizzard This is massive.

Oude Geuze Boon Black Label Edition N°2 Barney

A taste of green apple skin, lemon zest, green pear and yogurt .A nice cracker and white wine.And my preference of horse blanket. Very effervescenc if you love geuze or lambic's? This is a well aged beer for the sour connoisseur.

Kriek Boon Barney

A dominant flavors of red/dark cherries. More of a wine quality then a lambic. Doughy and cherry juice this need some barnyard funk to make this beer sing. A short finish and dry mouth feel. And a Fizzy carbonation, a little to tame for my taste.

Rübæus Barney

If a Raspberry sweet tart and a Raspberry pop tart. Had a baby, it would taste like this fruit beer. Some medicinal but not in a bad way. Also some cranberry, as well. Don't drink this style very much, but it was decent .

60 Minute IPA Barney

Had this beer a million times, always forget to check it in. A nice balance sessionable IPA. Nice resinous notes. Pine and grapefruit pith, and herbel hoppyness.

KBS Maple Mackinac Fudge Barney

Cake batter and sweet coffee and chocolate brownie. A hint of bourbon and a touch of maple and vanilla. 11% of smoothness. This was a 5 for me

Geuze Mariage Parfait (2012) Barney

Still alive and kicking being aged for 10 years. This one exploded in the bottle. Still vanilla oaked forward and tons of horse blanket and apple vinegar, and old wood. Tons of settlement in the glass. Love aging theses geuzes

Geuze Boon Sélection Barney

Lemon and funk and tart green apples and oak and that slight touch of bubblegum from the Belgian yeast. Belgian geuze are a must try for sour beer lovers.

Barrel Aged High Ball Drifter Barney

Some booziness some orange and vanilla and the cherry is on the back end. A good brown ale, not many on the craftbeer scene. This was good but not mind blowing.

Unraveled IPA Barney

Melon and citrus with a smooth if you like stone fruits. This is it peach and melon with a nice sweetness.

American Beauty Barney

Wow love the honey and pineapple with a nice apricot mix in for a really good tasting hazy i.p.a. Abd the bitterness carrys the flavors right to those taste receptors. Really enjoyed this one

Punkin Ale Barney

Spicy and sweet with all the yummy spices, that make us love pumpkin beers. This is right near the top, when I'm in the mood to drink one.

Big Luscious (2020) Barney

Very dark like motor oil. Dark chocolate and Smokey and semi sweet with a strong raspberries so delicious. A must try beer.

Backwoods Bastard Barney

Lot's of cinnamon and toffee and Carmel boozy brown sugar. Very complex beer.

All Day IPA Barney

A light tangerine and malty sweetness but light yet lots of citrus flavors. Light bitterness and smooth mouth feel. I could drink this beer all day.

Civilized Brut IPA Barney

A dry carbonate beer with flavors of grapefruit and lemon zest and nice sweet malt on the finish. But very refreshing all the same.
