Classic Gueuze (2022) Burns

🤤 surprisingly pretty honey forward. Very similar to wine barrel aged Hill.

Magic Lambic (2022) Burns

I don’t feel comfortable saying this but I definitely thought this tasted like smoothie sour lambic.

Saint Lamvinus (2021) Burns

Merlot really stood out to me. A different sort of depth. Much more mellow finish.

Kentucky Bourbon Stout (KBS) (2021) Burns

This is not very good. Aroma is nice - lots of bourbon/barrel and assoc vanilla but aroma is generally the easy part. From there, it’s a mess. Basically all booze and weird barrel. Not too hot but there aren’t really complimentary flavors on the finish.

Kentucky Bourbon Stout (KBS) (2021) Burns

Alcohol dominates - esp the finish. Nice roast, barrel, and coffee. delicate/nuanced flavors a muted though. Nose is kind of boring - pretty caramelly. Hate to say it but a touch of vanilla or chocolate might be nice here. I hope this improves with age.

Mosaic Promise Burns

First drop of the year at the Vermont boarder town I shop at. Clean hoppy crushable. Slight sweetness but the hops are still able to really shine.
