120 Minute IPA (2021) G.

Sipper! Robust & strong w/ LOTS of flavor. Grapefruity hops are met with a caramel sweetness. More citrusy than pine. Almost gives way to a sticky toffee note. High alcohol, acidic & bitter. Checks all boxes for those that love a hop punch to the face.

Drink'in The Sun (0.3%) G.

Ok, maybe one of the better NAs. Has a bright, citrusy flavor. Tastes kinda wheaty; fuller body. Does seem to have more actual flavor than many of them do. Guess I'd say it's good for an NA. 👍🏻

Punkin Ale 2021 G.

I buy this annually, but still have last year sitting in the cellar. I do love the brown ale base. The 2021 drinks bone dry, bitter & a little astringent. I feel like past years have offered a tad more sweetness for balance & less hop bite. 2021=pass

Available in the mixed 12pk in the MSP market. I like it! Tastes more fruity than hoppy. Lower IBUs. Lighter for an IPA & easy. I get the stone fruit plus a rando mango flavor which must be the hops. Mayan sea salt is a nice touch.

Curmudgeon’s Better Half (2018) G.

Brought the 2018 up from the cellar. Feel like I might be getting a little oxidation, could be time to drink these. Sweet, strong & boozy. Lots of oak, maple/molasses + a noticeable sharp bite. Should I age longer here, or is it time to drink/share?

Hazy-O! G.

Super hazy thx to the addition of OATS! Soft & full-bodied + malt forward, like I can taste oats here. Earthy hops. Malted oats add sweetness & the oat milk adds a creamy note; disguising the 7.1% ABV. Citrusy & a little tropical like pineapple hints.

Blushing Monk G.

Smells like berry cake. Sweeter & not as sour as I anticipated. Major red berry flavor; lots of raspberry/cherry. Subtle biting sharp thread to it; must be the yeast. A little funky tartness. Overall, sweeter & way more berry-forward than many sours.

Más Agave Premium Hard Seltzer Lime G.

Has an agave/tequila flavor + a salinity, like a salt-rimmed margarita. Diluted apple juice + watery fresh line flavor. Faintest cinnamon note. Subtle sweetness tastes like a margarita seltzer.

KBS Maple Mackinac Fudge (2020) G.

Rich, thick pour w/deep brown head. Tastes of chocolatey sweet fudge foremost. Coffee complements in the best possible way, adding some acid & bitterness. Maple is lighter, like an afterthought. Boozy oak & bourbon notes are balanced & it all works well!!

120 Minute IPA (2019) G.

120 IBUs & 21% ABV, officially Strongest Beer I've ever tasted! Hoppy, acidic, bitter...almost like an herbal beer liqueur. Sweet caramely malts almost taste raisiney or brown sugar & drink as warming as sherry. Hops: strong orange, grapefruit & resin.

American Beauty Hazy Ripple IPA (2020) G.

Pours kinda hazy, lots of tropical fruit & citrus flavors! Hoppy, acidic & only a little bitter. Drinks sweet, higher ABV, too. Can kinda taste a caramely sweet malt. Bold flavors here!

Punkin Ale (2020) G.

I look forward to this every year-I submit that the 2020 is alright. Love that it drinks dry (subtle sweetness), w/ toasty malts, nice fresh pumpkin flavor + subtle fall spices. Great alternative to the sweeter fall/pumpkin brews. Brown and that's unique!
