Oude Geuze Boon à l'Ancienne - VAT 109 Mono Blend D

OMG! The funk! So amazing! Tart, but sweet. Sharp and effervescent. Apple notes that blend oh so well. Such a wonderful beer! Thanks, Tim!

KBS Blueberry D

Blueberry pie, with chocolate syrup drizzled vanilla ice cream, served with a roasty coffee. Blueberry pie filling up front. Fruity vanilla sweetness with coffee at mid-point. Chocolaty finish with roasty undernotes. Layered. Develops as it warms. Complex

KBS Blueberry D

Roasty coffee, hints of dark chocolate, lots of sweet blueberries. Barrel-aged, lightly warming. ABV not hidden, but still subtle (IMO). Chocolate and sweetness increase with warming, while blueberry and coffee blend in more. Thanks for suggesting, Joe.

Mine Is Bigger Than Yours: Port & Bourbon Barrel Aged (2021) D

When first poured, the apple is in-your-face forward and the oakey notes are very muted. As it airs, the apple mellows and the oak comes forward a bit adding balance. No hiding the ABV. Smooth, sweet, port wine and bourbon. A true sipper and quite tasty.

KBS Cinnamon Vanilla Cocoa (2021) D

Wow, a beer where the cinnamon shines! As a cinnamon fan, this a HUGE plus. Warming, no hidden ABV here. Vanilla adds a little sweetness, but not overdone. A deep, robust flavor, a little thin in body. Aromatic, slight barrel-aged notes. Really nice.

Zwanze 2021 - Parasol D

Zesty (almost bitter) orange and light cedar notes. Slightly astringent. The citrus/orange notes are the focus with everything else showing up on the backend.

Magic Lambic 2021 D

Funky blueberry with loads of vanilla, both on the nose and the pallette. Oddly, it has notes of raspberry as it warms, too. Sour notes increase as it warms, but funky is still the lead note.

Zwanze 2020 - Brettrave D

Beautifully tart and sour with an underlying, but noticeable earthiness. I would like it better if the earthy notes didn't get stronger and the sour/tart nobles weaker as it warms ,- but still fabulous

Campfire Amplifier D

Better than I remember. More cocoa than I recall and a nice overall smoothness. Just enough sweetness. A touch thinner than I prefer, but still tasty. 3.95
