Roasty espresso up front with a slight burn and then the chocolate comes in nicely. Wish it was just a touch heavier. Going to save some for a nice cold fall/winter day.

Smells delicious. Smooth vanilla and maple up front with a boozy back end.

When cold it tastes like a heavy/vanilla marzen. Bourbon bite really starts to show as it warms. Even then, it’s a pretty tame note.

Somewhat nutty. Coffee started to become more prominent as it warmed.

Very rich and it is probably the best smelling beer I’ve ever found. So good!

This is not bad and not good. Certainly not the same quality as cbs, kbs or backwoods. There’s no such thing as a bad Oktoberfest though!
