This is so strange. Intense orange. Like orange extract. Orange hard candy. Almost medicinal but.. also delicious?

It's good. I love FF. This bottle is maybe a touch too acidic for me but whatever.

Gueuze 100% Lambic Bio (2015) K

Sept 1 2015 bottling. Lots of that Cantillon funk. Great bottle.

Iris (2011) K

Cellar pull for the bday. 10 year old Iris tasting insane. Was worried after I saw the mold & color of the beer, but it’s fantastic. Fairly acidic but it’s undercut with a nice sweetness.

50 Degrees N - 4 Degrees E (2020) (Cognac) K

Maybe my plebeian palate but this just tastes like gueuze? A touch on the acidic side. Def some background funk. One of my fav Cantillon labels, too.

Oude Geuze Boon Black Label (2016) K

Opened straight from cellar. Exploded everywhere. Soaked. All over the wall. Stinks. Fortunately it tastes great. Musty. Rather subdued on all fronts which is a surprise given the dramatic opening and stench.

Fou' Foune (2019) K

& so begins my first “vacation” since pre-covid. 2019 FF is straight apricot juice. Tart and finishes with a little funk.
