Bottled 5/7/24. Fresh. $4/bottle Great consistency, good barrel, sharp coffee. It's a great beer. Someday, Jeremy should brew it with vanilla (no cinnamon). Or, let's have Better Half again. It's been a looooong time coming.

Canadian Breakfast Stout (CBS) c

Smooth. Boozy, coffee, make, slightly sweet but strong coffee.

KBS Blueberry c

Much smoother and less blueberry than Liz of koz. Well balanced with coffee blueberry and a light vanilla finish. Good variant.

The Headless Gourdsman c

Boozy. Maple is strong. Spices are OK. For what it is, it is fairly balanced with maple a little heavy. Its OK. Bring on curmudgeon's better half instead. That's a perfect beer.

KBS Chocolate Cherry (2022) c

Cherry adds extra clean taste to kbs. Slightly tart. This is a very nice variant of kbs. Refreshing but with the kbs kick. Thanks Jeremy, keep them coming.

Where is the haze? Very disappointing. 3 days ago, the haze was second to none. Still crisp. But what happened?

This is the best p bstout Founders has made. We'll balanced. Pb is not too heavy. Very pleasant.

Backwoods Bastard c

I am drinking a fresh bottle of Backwoods. This is extremely smooth and easier drinking compared to many past years. It's really good. I hope they do Better Half again too, and soon.

I can't find anything not good about this beer after it was on the tap for a few days. It's rich.

Great body. Boozy. Good balance of cocoa and vanilla.

KBS Cinnamon Vanilla Cocoa c

Terrible. Heavy cinnamon, very little vanilla. Poorly balanced. Cinnamon should never dominate tbe taste of a beer.

Bottle Shop Series Highball Drifter c

Very fruity. Cherry and orange. Must be boozy at 11% but hard to tell. Very unusual. If it is 11%, one should be careful because it is not boozy. Not a lot of bite and bourbon doesnt come through.

Beer Geek Vanilla Shake c

Awesome vanilla, not sweet. Smooth, boozy. So nice that the vanilla overwhelms the coffee.

First on the nose is KBS,Coffee. The barrel is strong, but the chocolate and maple produce a smooth and nicely balanced version of KBS. Coffee is still somewhat dominant. one of Founders' best brews.

French Toast Bastard c

balanced, maybe a little heavy on the cinnamon, rich. Thick, I would prefer these adjucts in a stout, but there is no denying that this is a great beer.
