Wow, this is a soft and well rounded red ale. Almost wouldn't know it's over 12% and bourbon barrel aged - which could be a criticism but this is soft, subtle and delicious. Perhaps the age has really mellowed this one (bottled 2018).

Smooth beast. Nice rounded bourbon kick is there, and the feel is velvet
