Shared by a very generous person. They do a nice job hiding the Cantillon acidity and the grapes come through. Smokey red grape?

Wow, this is starting to become my favorite regularly produced geuze. So soft. So brett. Even a bit of nice sweetness. I wouldn’t call this sour at all.

Geuze Mariage Parfait (2014) E.
Last night. When I drink lambic/geuze, I ask myself why I waste my time drinking any other style of beer (except for a few exceptions).

This cork almost took my head off! But what a beautiful beer. It would be worth a black eye. Wish this was imported for under $5. It would be the house kriek.

Yeah, much better than the regular Kriek. But could be softer.

Big acidic kick at the end. Great cherry otherwise. Fresh it’s good.

Oude Geuze Boon (2012-2013) E.
Oh that hits the spot. Aroma is full of lambic brettiness and dry leafy woodiness. Flavor adds a sharp but tamed sourness. All surrounded by the cobwebs and cellar funk. 848417

It's Alive! Barrel Aged Grand Marnier E.
Not sure how old this is. Prob 5-7 years. I was expecting a Brett beer but the pop & pour tells me it won’t be Bretty. A: old old old leafy alcohol barrel. Blech. F: not even getting Brett. Mostly turning old tea water losing flavor. Why I’m not a Mik fan

Smells of Brett and wet cork. Very authentic and lively yet earthy. Flavor was less lively and a bit of a subtle yet authentic geuze. Light sourness and low acidity for style. I’m digging it. 838315

I likey. Light and clean. Well balanced. Soft geuze. Leafy and barrely. Long head retention. Lemon highlights. Very Rene Cuvée in spirit. As I remember it from the mid aughts, I’m a big fan. 848417
