Zwanze 2024 - MMXXIV Jones

Such an amazing Gueze. Honored to drink this, as Garden Path/Great Northern was the only establishment in the state of Washington that got this beer. The notes of sea lettuce/salt water were present in the nose, but more subtle in the tasting. Wonderful!

Breakfast Stout Jones

On Nitro. Too much coffee, but it is what it is.

Cuvée Saint-Gilloise (Champions) Jones

A tart lambic with pleasant funky sour notes, and reportedly fresh (as opposed to aged) hops. Dry finish. Cantillon on tap is such a treat whenever you can find it in the US.

Classic Gueuze Jones

Cantillon, but in a bottle this time. Still an amazingly complex style of beer.

Panther Cub (2021) Jones

Nice barrel notes, interesting adjuncts. Roasty and lightly sweet.

Kentucky Breakfast Stout (KBS) (2018) Jones

They had 2018 KBS on tap, three years after the last time I had it. Yep, still wonderful!

KBS Maple Mackinac Fudge (2020) Jones

Where is the maple? Where is the fudge? This is coffee, with more coffee, and a side of espresso. Just awful.

Vigneronne (2018) Jones

So lovely. Wine-like, tart, funky, pleasantly tart.
