Berliner weisse is not high on my go to styles and so i suppose this is a decent homage, channeling their best JFK impression. Light, fizzy sweet and tangy the raspberry is present and correct and the malt is soft and adds a touch of depth to the jazz

Spontandryhop Centennial Simmonds
Would really like to taste in unison with Mikkellers others in this series to taste the variations that the different hops provide. Tasted blind the hop adds a green apple sweet and sour up front taste with an oakey leathery lambic kick to finish. Complex

Oude Geuze Boon Black Label Edition N°6 Simmonds
This had all the hallmarks of the classic geuze, perhaps needed a little bit longer in the bottle. Soft tart and a touch of acidity alongside an oaky and leathery spine, not as long on the palette as I expected but does have a certain nice astringent end

Drink'in The Sun (0.3%) Simmonds
This surprised me as I thought the wheat would make it over sweet but it actually balances out quite nicely with a decent enough hop bite at the end. Obviously lacks a bit of depth in body without the booze but it's suitably fruity and crisp to compensate

Pretty light and easy drinking. As is often the case with supermarket versions, this is quite meek, with soft cherries and overall sweet fruitiness set against a mild tartness that is complimentary but overall pretty subtle flavours across the board

Smooth well balanced classic US ipa, packs in 4 hops (the Cs) and each brings something to the party. Mild Citrus bitterness, pithy grapefruit, soft pine and earthiness and sweet tropical and floral peach vibes. Good for a house ipa but maybe lacks punch

This is a nice ipl that offsets the classic malty base pretty well with a good finishing note bitterness from the hops that are requisite of the Indian pale scene. A tad on the sweet side which is probably in part to appealing to the entry level buyer.

Solid apa that's fine for the supermarket crowd but lacks a bit of depth. A little thin but light and easy to drink so not necessarily a bad thing. It present the style with fruit and floral hop to the fore with very little bittering. Verging on oversweet

Sweet and dry with a little tart start but smooths out to a lovely soft finish. Tastes of the field with hints of straw and grass against a light almost apple like sourness. Very easy to drink but slightly sweeter than my favourite variety.
