KBS Cinnamon Vanilla Cocoa (2021) SMITH

A: cinnamon darkcoffee cocoa wet oak char soft whiskey mild toastedmarshmallow vanilla(wood/adjunct). F: crazy balanced base beer + cinnamon cocoa vanilla oak whiskey & even bitter/sweet is nailed (not cloying or dessert at all). Smooth ABV solid balance.

Big Luscious (2020) SMITH

A: deep roasty charredwood-esque cocoa medium & bright raspberry slight bakedfigball. F: hefty raspberry juicy on top of robust bittersweet chocolate roasty smokedwood-esque & subtle tart/seedy fruit vibes. Balanced.

Panther Cub (2021) SMITH

A: semi-rich chocolatey maple roasty tobacco malt mild woodsy soft vanilla very FAINT oxidation. F: balanced bittersweet rich roasty malty caramelized sugars woodsy maple chocolate bourbon soft vanilla faint driedblueberry/darkcherry maltiness. Balanced.

Quite dark for barleywine — A: deep profile some roast/smoke semi-rich malt faint plum. F: hefty barleywine loaded w/ bitter hops roasty semi-rich malt profile subtle woodsy tobacco smoke-esque some earthy spicy faint tobacco mint.

Oude Geuze Boon à l'Ancienne - VAT 79 Mono Blend SMITH

A: wet woodsy tobacco soft sour mineral funk soft oxidation subtle caramelization. F: very smooth mild tingly mineral soft sour/funk sherry-like oxidation mild caramelized citrus/fruits finishes semidry. More oak vanilla & “citrus” vibes A&F as it warms.

Classic Gueuze (2013) SMITH

A: nice mineral delicate sour soft lemon/lime-like acidity great blend of everything soft barrel qualities faint funk. F: minimal carbonation great mineral quality soft acidity faint lemon-esque soft earthy funk nice barrel qualities. Tasty but carb off.

KBS Maple Mackinac Fudge (2020) SMITH

A: robust complex espresso roast rich fudgy chocolate brownie faint maple oak bourbon vanilla. F: amazing balance of adjuncts & base beer, wish the barrel was a bit more pronounced but super smooth 11% ABV. Great stuff. Not my fave KBS variant, but great.
