KBS Cinnamon Vanilla Cocoa (2021) Byrne

After an additional year of aging, it's lost none of the flavors. Slightly sweet vanilla/cream up from and then tge cinnamon shines, even as a slight cinnamon aftertaste. The aging just made this one smoother than the one I had a year ago.

Canadian Breakfast Stout (CBS) (2017) Byrne

Was curious to see how this aged after this much time. I expected many of the flavors to have faded. They haven't faded much at all. But the upside to aging.... there is next to warmth. Incredibly smooth now. Its better now than it was "fresh".

Grand Cru Bruocsella Lambic Bio Byrne

Flavor profile is a Heineken funk throughout with a slight, apple tartness underneath. Almost no carbonation and though there is a slight vinegar tinge... none of these flavors create a harsh bitterness. They are all there.. just muted.

KBS Hazelnut (2022) Byrne

Wow... this has a very robust flavor profile. Very dark roasted malt (like a black, hazelnut coffee, with 2 sugars). Dark, botter chocolate. There is a nutty tinge but more like a tart nutty flavor like the shell part and not the nut. Could use some aging

KBS Cinnamon Vanilla Cocoa (2021) Byrne

I love KBS but love this variant even more. You can really sense everything from tge base KBS but the subtle sweetness of the vanilla is ever-present and an ever-so-slight tinge of cinnamon. So balanced, tasty and smooth! It would be a 5.00 with more body

Rosé de Gambrinus Byrne

Yeah, this is what I always look for in a lambic. Lots of fruit flavor and the right amount of tartness. You know it's a lambic.... but the fruit is still the main characteristic throughout. Benchmark example of the style.

HORAL's Oude Geuze Mega Blend 2015 Byrne

Delicious. Lots of appricot and though the tartness is there, it's not overbearing like in many other geuze, lambics or kettle sours. Very smooth and tasty.

Vigneronne (2012) Byrne

The tartness is pleasent and not abrasive. Loads of light fruit flavors throughout.
